Bradley Hart has developed an elaborate artistic process that involves inventing mechanized systems to continually generate new artworks. His meticulous methods produce paintings as well as their byproducts, which then become materials for new creations. Hart begins by injecting paint into bubble wrap to create photorealistic portraits. The paint that spills out the back becomes the Impression series - blurry negative impressions. He also creates Destruction Prints by stepping on finished injections and transferring paint to canvas. The paint drippings from his processes are collected as 'authentic wasted paint' and reworked into abstract sculptures. Hart also deliberately drips paint to produce 'created waste' for his sculptures. The entire cyclic system sustains itself - finished artworks and their byproducts spawn new series and materials eternally. Conceptually, Hart's work comments on contemporary culture, technology, and notions of artist vs machine. Visually, his output ranges from photorealism to abstraction, but his focus remains on elaborate process over product.
