fairy gardens: doll housing agriculturally

Nebraska’s Chrissy Peters recently assisted 4H members in creating their own fairy gardens, miniature landscape vingettes.  When Peters set about designing her own (not shown above), she meticulously and laboriously included a windmill, pigs, a corn silo, and several other handmade features.  Calling herself a horticulturist at heart, and struggling to keep her landscaping green, her effort won her the Grand Champion of the Dimensional Arts Exhibition in the Open Class at the Scotts Bluff County Fair.
