There I was, minding my own business on rural Route 30 in Arcadia, Florida when whizzing by me was caravan after caravan of construction vehicles.  Make no mistake, the first solar-powered town (city, might be better) is well underway with no sign of stopping soon.

50,000 people on 91,000 acres will sprout 1,100 homes priced between $200,000 to $900,000 in Phase One of what promises to be a very exciting advancement for Southwest Florida. Sure, it’s out in the boondocks. Aren’t the best things?
