the farm parts tinkerer

Joe Bergbower is an Illinois farmer. And when you’re a farmer, you often have to resourcefully make do without. So you hold on to things. Metal things. Wire things. Tool whatchamacallits. And pretty soon, they start stockpiling up.

Joe knows where most everything is and what it is.  His farm tinkering has transformed into an obsession to make something out of well, nothing. And doing that is an entire art of its own. Joe’s young son, Bradley, is the creative inspiration.  After Bradley’s death, dad took up where a budding artist had left off.
