Dan and Melinda Hemmelgarn’s Food, Art, Revolution, Media (FARM) project blends compelling photographs with relevant stories from rural America to influence public opinion and drive public policy to support a more just and sustainable food system.
The couple appeared at the Institute for Agricultural Trade Policy inlate August 2015. In addition, they produce a weekly, award-winning radio program to help listeners “think beyond their plates” and connect the dots between food, health and agriculture. “Food Sleuth Radio” is broadcast from KOPN studios in Columbia, Missouri: 89.5 FM. www.kopn.org
