Retired teacher and Army Veteran Moses Adams Jr. paints rural country Texas-based artworks from experiences he had as a child during the 1950s and 1960s.
“I think it’s very important to have this exhibit to have the African-American kids of our generation to see what their parents were exposed to,” Adams said. “It should encourage the African-American kids to get an education with all the opportunities they have today.”
